Programs designed to make you think harder

From data fluency to strategic leadership — every Hancgrowth program is built around outcomes you can demonstrate, not hours you've sat through.

What makes a Hancgrowth program different

Each program in our catalogue has been stress-tested against a single question: does completing this course genuinely change what a student is capable of? We don't run programs that fail that test. In practice, that means you'll encounter challenging readings, structured problem sets, and assessment tasks that simulate real professional decisions — not multiple-choice quizzes that measure recall. Programs run between six and twenty weeks depending on depth, and most are available in both evening cohorts for working professionals and intensive day formats. Our instructors hold postgraduate qualifications in their fields and most remain active in industry, so the content stays current.

Questions students ask before enrolling

How much time should I set aside per week?

Most programs expect 8–12 hours of weekly commitment, including live sessions, readings, and assessments. Intensive day formats compress this over fewer calendar weeks. We state the expected workload clearly in every program guide — there are no hidden hours.

Are Hancgrowth qualifications recognised by employers?

Yes. All qualifications are issued under the Australian Qualifications Framework, which provides national recognition. Many of our graduates have cited their Hancgrowth transcript in successful job applications and promotions — we track outcomes annually and publish a summary on the admissions page.

Can I transfer credit from a previous qualification?

Credit recognition is assessed on a case-by-case basis. You'll submit prior learning evidence during the admissions process, and our academic team reviews it against unit competency standards. We aim to respond to all credit applications within five business days.

What if I fall behind during a program?

Instructors monitor progress closely and reach out proactively when a student's submissions are delayed. We offer one formal extension per program for documented circumstances. We don't grant extensions as a default option — that would undermine the cohort rhythm — but genuine hardship is treated with discretion.

“The Strategic Management program was the most rigorous thing I've done since my undergraduate degree — and I did that at a Group of Eight university. The capstone assessment alone took me thirty hours but I came out the other end with a presentation I've since adapted for two real board meetings.”
